'bout the only thing I have close to that is some old Daft Punk. Would be good in the background while I'm working on a bike though.

If you are in this area we can hook up. It is too much trouble to go run far from home so driving to run is a sure game to get UN-motivated :)

Fyi
BT, you are probably out of my league, especially in the short term I'm starting from scratch. Going to try to run as much as I can of the Henricus park loop this weekend for whoevers interested.

I am not out of anyone's league... I run with others for the company. One key thing to learn about running is that it is not the speed... it's the time spent with your heart rate in the 'I am working out but not hating life' zone. A heart rate monitor is great for this. Target about 140BPM for 45 mins as a nice easy goal to start with. Run till you feel like walking... then walk some... then run some...etc. I get a good amount of exercise just trotting along with my girlfriend... still burning calories.. and most of all, I am enjoying the exercise time.

Keep it up for 45 mins at least 4 times a week and you will make amazing progress. The key is 45 mins 4 times a week and keep your heart rate at the 'medium easy' range.

If you hate the exercise you are doing then you are doing it wrong. ...

I love to run in the morning and end up at the starbucks, grab a cup o joe... then meander home and all that.

Just random thoughts on how I view the idea of fitness.

One last thing... My favorite viewpoint is to not diet.... just shoot for 80% healthy and 20% don't care. That works for me..

Wow!!! Nicole was just reading the forum & said holy $&!?...
You know how bad of an epidemic obesity is, when guys on a motorcycle forum are discussing exercise & weight loss...
She said the estrogen levels are getting high in here & we need to do something about it.

Man, I can't wait for my bike to get done. I need to ride!!!

I'm just whining again, I guess my estrogen levels are getting high also.

I'm starting to get the itch pretty badly myself. Going from riding every day to nothing at all cold-turkey is having a detrimental effect on my sanity
