@ Guy

Congratulations to your daughter. Quite an honor for her, and y'all.

She's a very fortunate young lady. And, very lucky to look like her momma.

Yours truly in the white helmet.

The gentleman that wrote the article rides a KLX450 and rode with us that whole day down in Pocahontas County while Laurel Fork was going on.

No argument from me on that.

Now, you wanna talk about patience, disposition, and some other traits she inherited, my wife could write a book.

But, thank you. She's done (and continues to do) good. We're very proud of her.

FWIW - the fellow in a couple of those pictures is Dr. Robert G. Davis, the fellow who created, and for whom this award is named for. Kinda neat. He checked us in and when Gretchen mentioned her name, he said, "Oh my gosh; your the one getting my award."

It was a very enjoyable evening. Some of the folks/kids receiving other awards for academic achievement was amazing. Some of these young folks have achieved more in their young lives than most of us could ever think of doing in three life-times. Very encouraging.

Thanks Jeremy.

It do move on it's own. This pix just after a test ride and checking the throttle body sync. All okay.

Greg picked it up about 15 minutes ago. His will be be the final assessment on how we did.

Now that I know the process, still not sure I'd want another one in tomorrow. Lotsa work involved.

Laugh the mail man was good today

I wasn't expecting the last of my tidbits needed for inspection to show up until tomorrow or Monday but stuff was in the mailbox today.

Now that my bike has red reflectors on the rear, amber on the forks and a brighter tail light with a progressive flash on the brake light. Between those, the newish tires and new pads all around it should be ready. Going to get up at a decent time in the morning and go looking to get it inspected.
