The rain actually held out really well. Only some very slight misting, and it was good because it kept dust to a minimum. And since it's been a little while since the last rain, it was far less muddy than the last time I went there. All of the trails were very nice. It was a little muddy on the back end of the TG, but was all good. Having that Shinko Jeremy gave me on the front helped a lot too.

Oh, and I got my first farkle on the other night. I don't know if I shared that with everybody. Nice billet rear rack. Looks awesome.

Having seen it many times, it is a sweet ride.

Route Planning to SC

So I have a wedding to attend in early June and planning on riding down since I won't have SO and kid with me. Not a lot of time, but I would like to leave straight from work around 4 on a Friday afternoon and get some hours in before I camp for the night. Then I can leave first thing Saturday morning to finish the trip off. Wedding is 6pm Saturday and I will stay over in hotel. Then Sunday morning I will ride straight through back to Richmond. Destination is
Okatie, SC 29909. So anyone know of decent route and campground?

Not my preferred part of the world to ride in, but I would like to make the most of it.

Does anyone have a great recommendation for an installer of attic roof fans? The kind that need to be cut into the roof? We had a great historic roof guy, but for some reason he has become unable to actually answer the phone or come when he is scheduled. And it's starting to get warm. TIA!

Hey Bastard, I'd like to get a video like this with my bike and your DRZ at some point when we ride if you don't mind. I'm trying to get some good comparos for people who are cross shopping bikes. I know I was looking for videos like this when I was shopping around, and they are hard to come by.

see the most recent issue of Fine Homebuilding for an article on motorized roof fans. in a nutshell, the author says "don't do it", and explains the reasoning why.

2013 Honda CRF 250l dual sport. New sprockets changing the gearing from 14/40 (stock) to 13/42. FMF Powercore 4 muffler on it. New handlebars and handlebar grips. Yoshimura fender eliminating kit with LED light. Little over 1,000 miles on it. Fuel injected, chain driven, and electric start. No major damage just minor scratches. Clean, rides better then stock because of the modifications. Only looking to sell this bike so I can get a touring bike. Please email me if you are interested. Asking $4500 but am willing to negotiate. photo 2013-05-01_16-47-45_389_zps01eea3f7.jpg photo 2013-05-01_16-48-09_854_zps30a46153.jpg photo 2013-05-01_16-48-58_739_zpsd5d944b2.jpgemail me at kmjinks@yahoo.com
