The rear subframe was snapped off at the final drive and there was a gear visible. It had temp tags and the ride was walking around talking just fine. He was more upset that he just had traded two bikes for the GS and riding season is now in full swing. I can't believe he was walking and talking and didn't go to the hospital! Crazy! Wish I had snapped a few pics of the bike....

wow!!! that guy was lucky

We had a great ride yesterday. Mark, Marty and I scooted out 64 to the Parkway then headed south. We rode down to 56 then headed to Gerties for lunch. From Gerties we took 39 through Goshen, Bath and Warm Springs to 220. The river was up and the water was moving fast ... the highest I have ever seen over there. We took 220 up to Monterey then headed up the hill to Reddish Knob. Beautiful day to ride. Temps varied from 65 to 85.
damn, I miss living up there

I too am lusting over this a little. My plan was always to buy a street triple r to go alongside the WR at some point, but this seems like it may be a better performer and cheaper on the used market.

Looks like a winner to me. Very similar to the Triumph in appearance. Ken of Ken's cycles told me Suzuki has new lines coming out this year. He has still not been able to ORDER a single 2013 bike yet and no other dealers have either. I wonder what Suzuki has up their sleeve. I am glad I did not wait for the new DL650 to be available in white color which is what my plan was before I bought the Tiger.

Was wondering how long it would take them to get their new sled engine in a moto?

What would be really interesting would be a 3/4 scale "mini" FJR900 at 450 pounds with bags and comfy windsheild for $9999. Sort of like BMW's $14,500 F800GT

Exactly Eddie, except with a larger fuel tank than 4.1 gallons. That would be a great buy!

Hey stranger! Hmmm. What the heck was Ken talking about then? It has been a month or so since he told me that. Were there any new models?

I just saw the sfv650 and the dl650, but I was only there to look at the S-10 and the DL. They have had those for a while now too.

The local Rotary clubs and Velocity motors help kids with books and have a Riders for Readers event.

the 3rd graders get free books and a chance to check out some motorcycles

that was fun!!

finished it off with Alamo BBQ
