OK, I could go for 8:30-9am. I usually fuel up at the Exxon on Patterson just before 288.

11310 Patterson Ave
Richmond, VA 23238

From there I go down to 711 to 522 to Cosby.

Another place to meet would be the gas station at 522 and 711.

PTOWNJOHNNY: I'll be on an f800GS and I think Jgiacobbe will be on a WR250.

8:30 at the Exxon sounds good to me.

Anyone up for riding around tonight? I am not 100% sure of what I am doing, but I should be able to get on the road at about 6:30. I wish i could ride with you guys to the mtns. tomorrow, but I am hanging with my son while my wife does a wine tour on a bus with some ladies for a birthday.

Totally non-M/C, but too cute not to share

This has been around for a couple of years, but still worth taking a look. I just saw it last night for the first time:

My wife's birthday is next month, but I extended your happiness to her as an early gift. This celebration is for a friend of hers. I am wondering how worthless she will be on Sunday. With all the recent rain I am very behind on yard work and it is nearly impossible to do anything with my son with me. Sunday will be a work day or a repeat of tomorrow and either way I will be worn out and sleeping well by mid evening.

I think I am going to head East into New Kent tonight and see if I can revive an abandoned road that used to connect 155 to 618. A small bridge will ultimately be needed but I want to see what is left of the road. I think I remember hearing that my grandfather built the original bridge so maybe it is my turn. I am likely to get stuck in there on the Tiger tonight so if you see any desperate calls for help on here later...

I might send you a message about this later tonight if I can spare the energy. Was up early giving the old lady a ride to work on my bike, worked, picked her up, and the AC is broken. I just want to hang out and eat pizza for a while. But we all know how awesome pizza is, it may be just what I need to get my gusto back up. I got extra cheese to stack the odds in my favor.

Will let you know... but it would probably be later on in the evening.

EDIT: if you get trapped in a ravine I'll be the first responder. Take pics.

Happy early birthday wishes to your wife.

My older daughter's birthday is today, as is one of my girl cousins.

Do you mean leave it here in RIC or out in the mtns? The BP (not Exxon...my mistake) on Patterson is next to a strip mall where you could leave it.

Too late Sidi9000 ......
I'm already 700+ miles into today's ride. Same path Eddy, Greg and took for the Iron Butt last year. My plan is to get almost to St Louis tonight. I have a little more left in me. Good ride so far. Not too hot, got some rain in KY.

Jeff.... I'm heading that way. I'm still 800 miles from Denver. Lets shoot for Sunday!

How's the Karoo 3 holding up? Any opinions on performance? Have fun!
