If you want we can swap my dirt knobbies for my road rubber and clean and oil the chain and you can take it. Probably limited to 70 mph (I would prefer 65) and it wont hold much gear. One small tail bag and Wolfman Enduro Saddlebags....I rode it like that out to Luray and back with Chuck and Dan a couple of months ago. I will PM you My phone number.
I have a spare 15t and maybe even a 16 for DR650 if he wants to go that way. Doesn't sound like its going to happen, but I can bring the sprocket and already have the tools to swap 'em if so.

It will have to be a mixed bag of Michelob Ultra, Coors Light, some stuff from Starr Hill, Batch 19, and maybe a couple bottles of Blue Moon.
That is awesome of you to offer.

The GS is back in it for the weekend! I read the dial indicator wrong, forgot it was SAE and not Metric. Stupid Stupid Stupid..... BMW says 1mm is okay I have somewhere between 1.1 and 1.2 but I can flex the wire wheel 1.5 so I think I am right at or within spec. Still have a little knock in the bearing so the plan is to ride it this weekend and keep an eye on the temp and run out, then pull it and sent it off to Anton Tuesday for a rebuild. Of course I could just leave it and maybe just maybe it would fail entirely at the GS Trophy Challenge in front of the BMWNA rep. They would have to put me on the team out of sympathy.

See you boys at the rest stop 6:00pm

H14,

You are the man, we will be at North River Campground just north of West Augusta. We should hit camp around 8:30pm-9pm. Dinner is at T Bone Tooters around 7:30 or so I think. Hope to see you and campcook.

We'll be 4 or 5 miles up from you guys. We're just going up to roast some hot dogs over a fire and hang out for a little while. We'll probably head back for home about 9 and swing by North River CG on the way out.

It's storming pretty good here now so hopefully it will be out of here by the time you guys get out this way.

Weekend ride

I may be the first one home from the weekend get together. We had a great evening last night and this morning. No rain. By the time we got to Franklin the skies opened up. Eddy and I took off because we needed to be home early. It rained on us until we rode through the worst of it just east of the BRP.

I hope everyone makes it home without incident. It's pouring in Glen Allen right now.

Raining in Asheville NC too. Spent all afternoon under rain clouds. Hid out from a hellacious thunderstorm in a car wash. Ironic, huh? Lol. Lots of twisty roads out this way. Enjoying the hell out of the ride. More tomorrow!

I had a great time riding with everyone this weekend. Just got unloaded and sitting down to relax. I hope everyone made it through that storm okay, it was pouring on 295. One bolt of lighting made me duck. . Pictures and stories to come.

Left y'all in Franklin and before I got up the first hill on 33 it opened up. Then again it rained hard just before Brandywine. I just barely stayed ahead of it and it was wild approaching Cville.

Had a great time. Thanks for the camaraderie.
