Charles did well in everything and earned 20th!

AND our own Andrew Lacy spanked the entire field off road today and fought off a very talented group of 79 riders to finish in 5th place!!! Tomorrow he fights 11 other riders for one of the top 3 spots to represent Team USA next year! (The rumor is that the Trophy may go back to Africa for 2014!)

Congrats to Andrew! He really earned it with his superior riding skills on a very slick, very technical wet course while it rained all afternoon!

Hundred of pictures should be visible soon on the GS Trophy FB page, BMW motorad page and Neale Baileys website very soon
That is awesome guys. I am glad you guys are having a good time despite the weather. I can't wait to see more pics and video.

You and Andrew selling your small bikes is depressing me. The versatility of the big GS seems to make it hard to justify having another smaller DS bike. Pity

Not any of us...he was fine and rode away

A lot of airborne GS's this weekend! Some bent rims too! LOL!

Looks like Andrews backyard in New Kent! Although I think he has thicker brush at home in some places. Good luck Andrew!

Edit: Just in case anyone was wondering the rider who went down is OK and the bike was rideable.

Andrew is mad because he thinks he did awful. what actually has happened is that he had a great run (they have sequestered the riders so he doesn't know that he did well when compared to the others)

Standby...we should know if he is in Team USA within a couple of hours!!

Everyone has fallen, crashed and stalled. This course is crazy hard!!! I wouldn't want to do it on my DRZ!
