Across the street from my hotel in the French Quarter they are having a memorial to fallen officers. Every police officer and firefighter in the city must be here. It is pretty moving and they haven't even started yet.

Sorry, the Motion Pro stuff is gone.

Also, I guess my post came across sounding a little morbid. My apologies for that.

The MRI I had done last week did show some abnormalities, but just what the actual problem is hasn't been determined yet. I had an appoint. with a neurosurgeon last Friday but it got delayed until tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll get a full report then and we'll go from there.

You can find it online as well, but it seriously looks insane. So watch it or record it. Then we can try to replicate in Halfplate's backyard.

Jeff,

Erzberg is always a blast to watch! If you like that you should check out the Red Bull Extreme Enduro Series and Romanimacs Enduro.

+1001 Guy...

I wonder if they could make a rounded motorcycle tire out of this material. Just think about it, no flats, no tire irons, no blowouts at speed, no carrying around inner tubes, no breaking beads on the side of the road...

Jimmy, Could I talk you into getting one of these and coming along with us on our DS rides!?

Getting old is not fun, nor easy, nor cheap. Good luck, Guy. Hopefully you can find out what is going on. Sometimes any news is better than not knowing.

Vertigo update

Appreciate all the thoughts and well wishes..

What they saw in the MRI that had me seeing a neurosurgeon today (just got back) was an enlarged artery/vein in the brain. Question is if it was there since birth, or some "new" development. The other question is if it in an area that might be causing the vertigo issue. All the balance tests I had done at the ear and balance specialist the other day basically came back "normal." Next step is to have an angiogram. Waiting for them to schedule that.

The "good" news is that I wasn't feeling too bad today, so I actually rode the bike to see the doc.

And yes, getting old is a beech - and - expensive. Sucks.
