It has more to do with when I say I'll be home.

Proud Papi

This made me smile when I went to have lunch with my kids at their school. Gabriel's teacher had placed a posterboard outside of their classroom so that all of the kids could sign their names on the board. All of the kids signed it, some placed a heart or smiley face next to their names. Gabriel printed his name and then attached his ADV signature line "KTM 50", in orange no less with a stickman jumping in the background!

Husky Bags

OK, so I'm late to the party. I had to drive to two Home Depot stores to find two bags, but they look to be worth it. And (whoever said it), you're right, they are larger than they appear. Plus, they fit perfectly on top of my side-mounted Pelican Cases! :-)

So, this summer's trip will have better luggage, to the tune of under $20!

(Oh, and sorry to anyone looking in the In-Town or Short Pump stores. They're out of stock now. LOL!)

Looked like one hell of a deal, but I didn't "bite." I already carry enough "stuff" on the bikes now and simply no more room for more.

Happy New Year to everyone

Sandy, Luke and I just finished our final ride of the year. Brrrr it was cold, icy, and windy, but fun still. Only rode for about 30 minutes, but it is interesting on frozen ground, ice, icy streams, and crunchy grass. The 450X and I have a tenuous relationship, but she's only put me down twice now and she may be growing on me. Don't think she'll ever be the love of my life though. Talk about high maintenance girlfriends.

I hope all of you have a healthy, happy and accident free new year. I hope you travel to new places and meet many new friends. That's what riding should be all about.

How about to celebrate the end of 2013, we all post one photo of the best ride we had all year? Or a photo that really makes you happy about riding this year. It might be an interesting way to see what we've all loved the best in this last riding season.

Cheers,
Jeff

Don't know that this is the "love shot", but it certainly was a destination. Rode all the way to ... er ... *****henge.

I know we weren't out riding in this shot yet, and that I broke my elbow later that day, but nonetheless this was one of the best weekends I've had with motorcycles so far.

First time on Shoe Creek was also memorable.

And just getting used to the new dual sport over the past year in general has been great riding locally, and I've had a great time meeting new people.

Sorry, that was more than one.

Laurel Fork would be my favorite, no matter which time it was. Of course, it rained both times!

Took my son for a ride up to Madason County to see his Grandad. Road some fire roads and headed home.
