The Mooses were only $25 and are very effective at blocking the wind from the hands. ATV and dirt bike places might have them locally. Only takes a few minutes and a couple of zip ties to mount them. You might also try hand warmers packets that you can get at Walmart. They are usually good for several hours.

Here's a video I shot in Hawaii last week. Rode from South Point (southernmost point of US) to Green sand beach.

Wow ....... Below freezing here in VA vs Hawaii ??? I'm jealous. Have fun over there.

I am tempted. I need to see if I can find a pair of winter gloves before I commit.
Gerbing makes some great winter glove. No wind protection required. One of the best winter accessories I have.

Madstrom ..... That bike sure looks lonely in that photo. :-)

The olympias are summer gloves and let an absurd amount of cold air directly into the fingers. I have been looking for a set of winter gloves, but I figure at this point I will wait until next season.

What time are you planning on heading out?

No time set yet but probably about 9:30 -10:00. I'm waiting to see if Chuck or anybody else wants to go. I figured we should let the roads warm up some just in case any run off froze overnight. We will probably meet at 522 & 60
.

Nice idea, but not happening this time. I'll play in it next week when it snows again.

It was good fun practicing throttle control. Here is my son with a little too much.

I have a couple of sets of winter gloves left from my riding days and would let them go at a great price to you. The best in a lobster claw glove from Held. They don't sell them in the US, I found them in the UK.

I also have a pair of Olympia but they are not as warm. Also have a couple of the campmor neck gators with wind block. They did as much to keep me warm as anything else I wore.

I cannot ride out with Mickey on Saturday morning, but I am cleared to ride out to the mountains Saturday night between 5 and 6, stay at my folks place near Lowesville, ride around in the hills Sunday and then get back into town in time to get to a Super Bowl party. I am going to be on the Tiger and want to hit some easy gravel and paved twisties. Nothing too slippery or technical. I will be willing to run up tower road, but not the roads branching off of it. Can anyone join me? If not, I will just be riding around here on Sunday for a while if anyone is up for that.

I could have used this 2 days ago

A friend send me this and I thought I'd share. I could have used it 2 days ago when I shoveled 3500 sq. ft. of driveway.
