LOL! Think I'll hit that steak AFTER the colonoscopy. Hate to see a good steak go to waste..... in a bucket, or where ever.

FWIW - Just got a call from the neurosurgeon's office and showtime will be on March 4. While I'm glad it's on the books, it's gonna knock out a couple of rides that I had planned on attending later that month..... including COG's annual (17/18th?) Crab Cakes Ride. It's also going to give me just shy of a month to "think" about all of this.

It is what it is and look forward to getting all of this behind me.

Alright, who got their picture in the paper?

This must be someone here...

Good luck on your surgery Guy.

So lately I've been shopping for toys with 4 wheels instead of 2. Test drove a Z on Friday, and wow what a car. If you can't tell by the look on my face it was a good time. Will be testing a C6 and Cayman S this week if the weather doesn't put a damper on things.

Dona and I are thinking of you, and wish you the best outcome with this surgery, my faith in modern medical procedures has improved with the outcome of the surgery I had last year.

you better brace for the snow.... hope you don't get what we have up here...
we have between a foot and 30" currently on the ground in the back yard...
I actually had to run the snowblower around out there, to make a path to walk the dog on... the snow was deeper than she was...

last Sunday

immediately afterwards deer...

Monday night there were a dozen grazing.

stay safe...

Selling your two-up touring bike? Is it that it doesn't do well in snow? I'm willing to bet in the next 6 months there will be a higher than average number of 4wd vehicles sold for our once a decade snowy winter. On that note, I know of a 2002 Trailblazer that will be for sale soon.

It actually does ok in the snow, especially considering rear wheel drive.

hate to do it, but I rarely drive it and my insurance is currently oppressive with 2 kids driving (poorly) on my nickel. Maybe I'll get another one in a few years, but now's a bad time for an extra/play car.

As a consolation prize I'm about to let cogent dynamics have their way with my DR shock for the full treatment. Getting all new guts, shim/valving, rebound and compression damping adjstment, new shaft, the hard ceramic coating etc.. Plus emulators for the front end. Look out bear squat road..

Just what we need, a faster ddlewis. Better ship it all out quick. I can see a future where we are without snow at the end of march and you are stuck with no suspension.

BTW, anybody see any snow yet?

Snow?

As of 5:15 we have almost an inch here in Petersburg. It is really coming down hard. I'm just about to take our new pup out and let her play in it.
