I find it hard to imagine that with all of the good local inmates, someone with dimensions similar to yours wouldn't be able to loan you some stuff until your gear gomes back in...I have a rain suit that should fit you if needed . I also may have a 48 jacket I would be happy to loan you. Let me check the garage tonight as I've already sold most all of my old gear...

Keep scanning Craigslist, eBay and the FM.

I bought a mesh jacket with rain and thermal liner off the FM that I will probably never use. I will eventually put it back on the FM. I will try to remember to look at it tonight and give you sizing, make, etc. I think it is the "Sliders All Season 2 Kevlar Mesh" in silver. I bought it from a guy who got it free for doing a review on it. Think I paid him $80 shipped to me. Probably size Large.

Guy, stop over at Ken's, when I needed gear for Dona while waiting for the stuff I ordered for her to arrive in time for RWTW, they actually had good prices on Firstgear jackets and pantaloons, I think I got outta there for less than $275, and ended up selling the jacket for that later on....

also COG forum has a 2 piece in nice shape for $399 shipped, he'd deal I bet, been there for a while... you might even know him...he's N.E. area..
http://forum.cog-online.org/index.ph...html#msg349107

you could re-sell it when your's comes back, I know how much you like the Red one..

what rides you planning on next?
I just buried the snowblower in the garage, and C14 is ready to ride...

Repair times are a little better now so getting ready to send it off. I have a couple of rides coming up that I hope to be able to make, so getting a little desperate on having the appropriate gear JIC the suit doesnít make it back in time, therefore looking for a local shop that carries a good line of gear and reasonable prices. Not looking for super top of the line stuff, but just something to carry me through this interim period.

Recommendations please.

.
I will also say Street Rockets has really good pricing. I know no one has recommended Ultimate Cycle yet, but I found that if they price high and you let them know you have found better prices somewhere else, they will try and match the lowest pricing.

I don't know what Ultimate carries now that they moved to Powhatan. When they were in Midlo, sometimes they would have plenty of gear to choose from, other times almost nothing.

I didn't know they moved. Seems like a bad move going out of town. I never cared for them anyway.

Fact is, his stuff is a perfect illustration of the fact that it's the photographer and not the equipment.

MOST of what he's done he could do with a simple point and shoot.

Excellent creativity.

Jeff is a perfect example also... he's gotten some amazing pictures from the a very crappy camera.
