7am at citgo for Mikey's route

Sounds good. Hopefully, I'm not late.

I'm waiting to see Mike get an IBR number.

Route looks good to me. We could even meet at Mineral Restaurant (I believe it's called) for breakfast at 7. Just called... I think it's called Joe's or something now.

Not trying to change the plan , just suggesting an alternate.

That's a good joint. I haven't been there in 3-4 years.

Y'all have a great time & be safe.

Remember... ride your own ride. If you fall behind, they'll wait for you.

Sounds good. Why don't we just plan to meet there, that way early birds can go in (opens at 7am) and get coffee and chat waiting for stragglers...

Great...

Official Announcement:

Sunday 8/23 ride:

Starting from 'Joe's' Mineral Restaurant. Meeting at 7am for breakfast, will likely be rolling out by 8am...

Here's their info...

42 Davis Hwy, Mineral, VA‎ - (540) 894-4927‎

For the GPS inclined: 38.013861,-77.908993

For the low-tech crowd:

Here's the likely route:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?f=q&s...5,2.032471&z=9

Depending on time and how quickly things are moving along, lunch could be in Crozet at the (from what I've heard) Awesome Crozet Pizza (opens at 1pm Sundays), or if we continue on at Pee-Wee's Pit BBQ in Scottsville. Anyone else have great lunch ideas?

Should take about 6-7 hrs with stops and a relaxing ride. Folks are free to come and go as their time dictates...Let's ride!

So what time are y'all meeting/leaving? I made the commute to North Anna for 3-1/2 years. It's 1 hr 20 minutes straight across 522 to Mineral for me. I really don't want to leave before sun rise. Way too many deer out here.
