Ditto that on the dog. I've had to cradle two of them (16 and 19) when their time had come. Needless to say, they're as much a part of the family as any human is... and maybe more so.

Yes, there will be a few of us riding Sunday, for sure. The below appears in another thread, but I'll repeat it here:

(VA) Breakfast & Ride
02/21/10 - We will meet at the Inwood Restaurant (540-832-3411) in Gordonsville, VA on Route 15, just north of the roundabout in Gordonsville, VA, at 9 AM Sunday morning 21 February 2010. A ride will follow, weather permitting. Hope for blue skies and clean roads; this is normally the coldest ride of the year. Got electrics?

The name "Nutzy" was selected out of a group of nearly 3,500 entries during the Flying Squirrels "Name the Mascot" contest. (Richmond Flying Squirrels)

"Exposure to Southern Flying Squirrels has been linked to cases of epidemic typhus in humans."

I'm up for some riding this weekend...just flew in from MN....it was COLD and United welcomed me home without my luggage...oh joy...

Not knowing the COG Ride ride route out of Gordonsville Sunday, I may peel off from the group and head over that way to co-mingle with the Cat-Herders to say "Hi!" and grab a burger.

Yeah ok. I'm going to do early church then head out. I'm not going to be in Gordonsville in time for the breakfast, that's early I think but it's in the right direction. Maybe I'll be up that way when y'all are finishing. Let me look at a map and get back to you. Come on Michub, you know you're wanting to go. Pulled the bike off the charger and fired her up today.

Checked all the fluids, tires, chain, inspection.....

Woops!

Oh well, let's ride!

I made it through the snow/slush/ice in the driveway and enjoyed a short ride. Unfortunately, the 60% mobility in my injured knee leaves me about 15 degrees shy of the range of motion I need. I had to force my knee to bend enough, and over-stressed it (again).

So.... I put the bike up, and pulled out the 55. She cranked up on the first turn of the key. I was surprised since she hasn't been cranked over in a couple of months. Enjoyed a couple of quick runs through the neighborhood. The headers and Cherry Bombs always make the neighbors happy when I pin the loud pedal.

So, now I'm back on the couch with an ice bag on the knee, and a couple of anti-inflammatories and pain killers slowly taking effect. Hopefully, I'll be good to go for "date night" tonight!

Hope y'all have a good time at HBN's tomorrow. I'd love to go with you, but I'm looking forward to church.
