Dad took his bike to village Exxon at Patterson and Three Chopt and got it inspected by some one that he didn't think even knew how to ride. They checked the lights, brake pads and tires and gave him a sticker.

Yep, I just take mine to the Preston's gas station at Patterson and Spalding near Regency. Signals, lights, quick peek at the brakes, beep beep, and gone. 10 minutes max. @ 0700 M-F, 0800 Sat.

I wound up going to Ultimate Cycle for my state inspection today. Man, they were busy!!! Selling stuff left and right. I was there for about 45 minutes, and they sold 3 mc's and 2 atv's.

I spoke with the owner (who wouldn't take any $$ for the inspection), and he said they're still doing well in spite of the economy. Unfortunately, Virginia Motorsports (formerly Cliff's Honda/Yamaha) has gone out of business. Very unfortunate. The owner (whose name escapes me right now) was a genuinely nice guy.

For those of you who are always looking for a good deal on farkles.... Ultimate Cycle will match any internet price on any item. This is a great way to keep $ here in your community!

I was going to mention them Jimmie, but i wasn't sure if they would be doing inspections on a saturday..

Pete is a SUPER dude...I bought my C14 there, and I get free inspections for life...
Just to show you what kind of guy he really is, I called him on behalf of my fellow COG'rs, and inquired as to the price of doing the extended GTPP warrenty for a reasonable price, well the result was outrageous, he actually beat the best price we could find on e-bay, for everyone that wants it on the C14, he agreed on $339 for the 36 month shebang....
now mind you, this june will be the end of the original warrenty from Kaw, for those that bought the first ones, so our due date was coming up....
he went right to bat for us at COG with this deal....Kaw sent policies out last month, asking for a whopping $674 for this plan....wow.

good dealer, and he WILL beat anyone's price on a bike he sells....

I'm not sure what model # they had Karl. Pete said they were all new stock - not old stuff pulled out of a warehouse that were out dated though. They also had some unbelievable deals on some MX helmets too.

I think it's definitely worth the detour to stop by and check 'em out.
