99.9% packed

DOP kit the only thing to stuff in the pannier, and we're off to Boyer Station.

An inmate needs some advice concerning Johnstown, PA. I figure some of you seasoned folks from that area may be able to lend him guidance.

I'd love to make it over there this time but it would take all day on my scooter. I'm going to get some hiking in and hang close to camp enjoying the nature of the LF Wilderness.

How ironic/coincidental - the FOJ ride at Boyer this w/e is called the Friends of Jason ride, and Jason is from (drum roll please) Johnstown.

I've PM'd him with Jason's screen (doesn't get on here much), and email addy.

It is only a slight vibration. Not a problem. I have read on the FJRforum that synchronizing the throttle bodies, which was due at 8k miles and it is at 9k, will smooth it out to where there is NO noticible vibration in the bars. It is very smooth and the slight vibration is only noticiable in a certain RPM range. A lot less vibration than my thumper, the DR650 which is also really smooth. I can ride the DR all day long and have no affects on my hands. I just want to get them synched because it is part of the maitenance intervals and I don't want the guys in the back of the dealership touching my bike if I can do it myself. No offense. I need to change the spark plugs and when I pop the tank, etc. for that the sych can be done in a few minutes at the same time. It will be a while before I can get to it. I am geting married in a few weeks and if I do anything that is not wedding related or getting our stuff organized under one roof the fiance is going to get pissy. I was just trying to save $100 by borrowing one since it won't get used too often. Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate it. See you on the by-ways.

Saw a bunch of DS bikes there about lunch time today, including a 1200GS with a rider that was wearing a hi-viz AST. Anybody on here?
