Skidmore to Hone Quarry as in up to the ridge and past Flagpole? If so, how muddy/wet is it? Was thinking about that loop this weekend...

Fun ride. I only rode home from work then over to my storage unit to pick up my "forgotten" ninja

I love that ride up to flagpole. Check out some of the neat little ATV loops off the main road. Also there is a neat old brick wall/steps and chimney (remnants of a cabin) near where Hone Quarry would have connected if it was open down into the hollow.

Is there a Cardiologist in the house? Did he get a Diet Coke with it for balance?

New Tag

Ok, here's the new tag...

Clue: It's a partially complete compost bin in my back yard.

And yes, it's only a legal grab if you put your bike in the same precarious position.

Ok, I just wanted to post that because it just looks alarming. It's surprisingly stable though.

If you are going to be doing all that, I think we need to start a collection for the 'Teeter needs a motorcycle repair shed' fund. I have a hammer, nails, and a square, lemme know when they can be donated for the effort.

This scene should be corrected later today with the help of a mutual friend and his NoMar tar changer.

Teeter,
Where I come from, friends don't let friends do that to their bikes outdoors. You do know there is a shop somewhere around here that is FREE, climate controlled, has a tire changer, and a frig pre-stocked with libations? Can't recall the name of the place, but it is close by...... I heard they even accpet non-BMWs too!

Thanks!

What a generous group! Thanks Guys!

Bikeless in Oregon,

No, I can't accept the salute for building that just for this job, though it is for the bike in a round about way..

Mike(with bike)in Richmond,
Yeah it's sorry state of affairs on the teeter property. I actually am building a larger shed in the next few months so I at least have a place to park the bikes out of the weather. Sadly, they sit out all year with just flimsy covers on them. The platform the Fazer is lashed to is actually the base of a compost bin I'm building so that I have somewhere to put all the compost that is parked right where I need to build the new shed. So in a way, the platform was made just for the bike.

THE Guy,
Hmmmmm no-mar. Can't wait. Thanks again for the hook up!

Bayerische Munn Werke (That's you Jeff),
I do know the shop you speak of and that generous offer surely won't be forgotten in the future. Thanks!! I'll start brewing some beer here soon...
