Teeter's New tars

Just got back from a fellow COGger's place. He was willing to put his new No-Mar tire changer to use and mount Teeters tires for him. I suspect the rims are being mounted on the bike as I type this.

Computer controlled....

Uh, it's a tire Tony...... one with some tread on it!!

Half way there...

A balancing act.....

Once again the tagging community will be in jeopardy.

Don't forget to scuff'em in before getting on it too quick!!

Was someone gettin' a new bike?

Anyways, I was out ridin' and stopped in the new Honda House on 360 and the place is huge! Lots of good stuff, and sat on a Can Am. Very cool and weird feeling at the same time.

And as usually happens when I go somewhere like this, something followed me home. Scorpion Exo-700. Was thinking about the 1000 with the flip-down sunshade, but this one fit me much better and was $60 bucks cheaper. Wife got herself another purse this am, so I thought it only fair. Happy Valentines Day all!

wooooooooo hooooooooooooo new tar's

i think T was looking to make sure that arrow was going the right direction....heheheh

I have to say, i've been in that surgical place (C's Garage), and it is an abomination to be called a garage... no open cans of oil, no grease spot on the floor.... hell, the walls are freaking snow white....dayum....
hehehe
I bought my first Conni from him, and would gladly buy any bike stored there....
good job!

Truck Fixed.....

MEGA HARNESS CONNECTOR hidden in a shroud got pulled a bit, and slightly opened.... 2 weeks, many painful tests.... and on the last test to be, I decided to pull all the harnesses outta the way..... the offending one was never disconnected for the repair, i guess I just tugged it too hard moving it during the disassembly.....

all done, i'm MOB-2-trucks to go again.....
and ready to tag.....

The tire changing host has a GS on order.

Where is the Honda House?

Cool.
A couple of miles west of route 288 on 360. 14000 block if I remember right. Maybe not as big as Burcham cycles, but a lot bigger than the West Broad one.

I'm missing out on the early season riding for a few weeks but had to seek out a temp. bike 'fix'...found Bob Lanphere's Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki in Beaverton, OR....quite a place with huge inventory and tons of classic bikes throughout...it was cruel and unusual punishment...no orange ones though...

And this classic beauty, a 1973 TRX75 Hurricane...what a bike

PS - The amount of brewpubs out here is staggering

Anywhere that you have to do that to your bike in order to ride in the winter, is too cold for my sorry azz.

Friend of mine moved out to Bend, Or. several years ago. While he complained of the critical mass of granola eating/tree hugging/hairy armpit chicks out there, he LOVED all the beer places...

Back in bidness

I couldn't mount the wheels last night because I had a Valentine to attend to instead. So, I got on it this morning. I'm not going to lie, getting those wheels back on was not near as easy as it should have been. I was convinced my rear brake line got shorter and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the caliper hanger in place. Anyway, I finally figured out that I had it in (slightly) the wrong position and got it worked out.... after unnecessarily dismantling my rear break system.... damnit.

Went for a nice ride. The tire feels great, though I never truly tested them. I want to get another few miles on them before I start really testing their grip.

That Triumph is hot. Very nice.

Looks like you're making the most of your trip. I haven't been to Oregon, but I am well aware of their proliferation of fine breweries. Enjoy it!
