Agree. The words "Coors" and "beer" should not be used in the same sentence/paragraph. That is some nasty $hit that should have stayed in Colorado. Why it has attained such a cult following is beyond me.

Mickey, think that came from Tommy originally trying to get the Beach folks collected at a familiar place.

We locals (you, Clyde, Teeter, rctr, and myself) can still hook up there around 11:00 if we can get a consensus of opinion. Otherwise, sometime Friday morning I am heading west, eventually winding up at Natural Bridge.

Friday ride to Natty Bridge

Since there's not yet a consensus I'll drop this..

Before hearing about the Sheetz meetup I was planning on leaving from home (Glenn Allen) Friday at 9 or 10 AM. I put together this 5.5 hour route yesterday morning. It's completely slab free, but could easily be shortened due to time/weather constraints. It's basically 33W for awhile then some fun, then possible lunch somewhere, then a bunch more fun, then Liver N Onions (gross.)

IF there was any interest, there are plenty of meeting spots. I bet we could even find coffee in Montpelier. There's a decent FasMart at 54/33 that I don't own (or care to own.)

The Brrr

Anyone one going up Thursday?

There was a report of some of the MD / PA crowd coming down a day early, but since Russell wife is in the hospital I'm not sure if that is still happening.

Sue and I should be rolling in late Thursday afternoon, I need an extra day of riding.........the Feds and there doing more with less crap is getting old.........1 yr and 11 months and counting

Coors....YUCK. Just got done with a nice champagne tour here in Germany followed by a few Pills bier and then a few more glasses of purchased champagne at the hotel and local chocolate with sparkling water back in the room...not to rub it in though :)

Unfortunately schedule and weather don't make MC rental possible :(

I'm looking at being a little more south. Chesterfield Court House area, I was going to go through Pocahantas Stae Park, through Scotts Fork, Amehlia Court House, Sailor's Creek, Farmville, then a little north, 608, over to 130.

If you make it to Scotts Fork go a little farther and make a left on RT708 (Namozine Rd). You will take that almost to RT460 but turn onto River Rd in Dinwiddie. Make a left at the end of River Road and it will put you back into Chesterfield (Matoaca)

you also may consider St Martin. It's is a cool place, great beaches, if your wife is into beaches. and a shorter plane ride than Hawaii.
