Touring Tierra del Fuego &tc.

Life does NOT suck.

This photo was shot 30 meters from the front door of where my pal is living.

Flash, I see only the first and last pics. Bring on some more when you get back to high-speed connection world.

Man! You do get around.

Nice pics. What an adventure.

Marty and Don, a couple more Coloradans are headed down there right now. Last I heard they were near Ecuador.

Love to see more pics when you have a chance to load them up.

At the border station leaving Argentina, we saw this poster. I didn't know that FSM was part of the culture of Argentina. She's got a Pirate Fish heading toward the landing strip...

Then we crossed the Rio Belle Vista...

The carabineros on the Chilean side invited us to have lunch with them while our socks dried out...

Today was a maintenance and minor-repairs day. Tomorrow (12/24) we plan to head up toward El Calafate, Argentina, to gaze at the big-ass glacier up there.

The Pirate Fish in the tattoo is the FSM version of the Jesus Fish.

I hate you guys, I say 'Tierra del Fuego' in conversation on a regular basis, and you were there! Killer pictures, what's left to see in the world after you've been to that ice field? Too much, great post.

Great report from the end of the world. I was in Puerto Montt and Hornipiren, Chile last March and the roads look all the same. Well maintained gravel. TDF is every serious adventure riders dream ride. You are living it for us. Chilean wine is damn good also. Hope all goes well.

The Taj Mahal & the Himalayas will do nicely.
