Guys, don't intend to start a gun debate but please if you believe in the Constitution and our Bill of Rights as a whole I encourage you to contact your Congressional Representatives and voice your opinion on the bill that Senator Finstein will be introducing. It will make the old so called "assault weapons ban" look like child's play. Please remember that the Second Amendment is not about hunting.
Following is a summary of the 2013 legislation: Bans the sale, transfer, importation, or manufacturing of: 120 specifically-named firearms; Certain other semiautomatic rifles, handguns, shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine and have one or more military characteristics; and Semiautomatic rifles and handguns with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 10 rounds. Strengthens the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban and various state bans by: Moving from a 2-characteristic test to a 1-characteristic test; Eliminating the easy-to-remove bayonet mounts and flash suppressors from the characteristics test; and Banning firearms with “thumbhole stocks” and “bullet buttons” to address attempts to “work around” prior bans. Bans large-capacity ammunition feeding devices capable of accepting more than 10 rounds. Protects legitimate hunters and the rights of existing gun owners by: Grandfathering weapons legally possessed on the date of enactment; Exempting over 900 specifically-named weapons used for hunting or sporting purposes; and Exempting antique, manually-operated, and permanently disabled weapons. Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include: Background check of owner and any transferee; Type and serial number of the firearm; Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint; Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law. Dedicated funding for ATF to implement registration.

Yeah they do. Prices tend to be on the high side and good luck getting any help depending on who's working.

I'm 50/50 on cycle world,, they've treated me decent to "ok" over the years,, but I've sent a few friends there for different reasons and the returning feed back was about embarrassing. And yes some ok stuff but definitely a little to the high side

Happy New Year everyone. Weather sucks (I'd rather see snow than this misty rain crap).
This is my first year in the last 26 that I can actually look ahead and not be counting the days untill I have to go back to sea again. I'm really looking forward to 2013 and the years ahead, hope to see you FF's on some rides this year. I did knock out one of my 2013 firearms purchases yesterday (hey, I'm in the military, on-time is late, it's always better to be early right?). New Glock 19 in two-tone. Tom's damn son wouldn't sell me his so I had to buy a new one. ![]() Why is that picture so huge??!! BTW, we need to get that damn tag thread moving. I see a new tag is up, maybe I'll head out later. I have to install some baseboard and paint some door casing trim, need to get the bathroom finished up, I'm really close!

![]() But at $500 bucks I think the wife would shoot me (the down side to guns ) jk of course ;) not even getting to the pants section,, I've survived 24 years of marriage by picking my battles :) So I'll probably have to settle for something like this: ![]() ![]() For $300 ish. Total Which completely beats my Jeans and a thermals on a day like today ;)
