Saw a Ducati 1198 laying on 17 today! Right out front of redline. Hopefully the rider is ok. Saw mikes f650gs near the scene, maybe he has got a inside scoop.

WOW! Were you able to ride all the trails? I saw signs up all over dam neck a few weeks back. Not sure I'm ready to loose that spot!

My bike is up an running again (thanks to Bob & Matt - Thanks guys!!). Looking to get out there on the weekend soon.

Anyone have a car cradle and power cord for a Zumo 660/665? Mine died, and I'd like to figure out if only one part died before buying both.

Chad, Hendo and I rode it last Monday. Like Grejet said it was mega swampy at the DN entrance but the elevated trail was great. The ditch is definitely different these days lol.

Bikes still not ready :( You have a slow leak in your front tube. We'll get you straight though.

How bad could it be?

Just shot this guy an email asking for more details on the electrical problem http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcy/3656947867.html

Could be a great deal or an awful deal. If nothing major I'm going to try to snag it.

Sounds like a great deal. How big of an electrical problem could a DR have?

His reply.. Any advice?

had the bike looked at by a local shop and they diagnosed an original electrical issue as a post stator coil that had went bad. The part was replaced by the shop, and the bike began to run as it did before it went into the shop. However, down the line, the bike seemed to lose power but could restart if the bike cut out. I checked the battery and it seemes to have gone bad. So i'm unsure of the current electrical issue. It could be just the battery, but I have not bought a new one to find out. With a good mechanic and knowledge of electrical issues....coils, stators, wiring, and batteries. This may be a steal. At worst case senario the bike has very good parts. Mostly everything is OEM. The manual and emergency toolkit are included. Thanks for your interest.
