I cut 3-7/8" off the top and made the radii from the nose of the Wee. The height just clears my GPS. The air is cleaner/quieter but not as clean as standing. Taking of the stock mirrors did not make any difference. Except for being paranoid I was going to get rear ended.

It is still on but today would be a good day for the CalSci medium shield to keep the rain off. I have four shield now bu still have more pairs of gloves.

I'm thinking of doing something similar, and making a "summer" screen for the Dakar. The screen I have now is pretty faded and speckled with tiny scratches and cracks. If I could find a new one to replace it, I could do a little cutting on the one I have now and not feel bad about screwing it up.

Any misfires. I was told Remington was not packing the primers correctly and there has been a high number of misfires.

The extra screen was nice. Just take you time and measure 3 or 4 times. I have a nice Bosch saber saw if you need to barrow one. File sand and polish for nice edge.

Anyone have a good resource for finding secondary routes out to WV from here? I'm trying to scout a route to get our to Pocahontas County on my DRZ400, so superslab is less than ideal.

I've been analyzing maps and can get about 3/4 there on smaller roads, but any advice is appreciated!

People don't use atlases anymore. I have no idea why.

A big +1 from me on the gazetteer. My dad got me one for Christmas and it's great. Plus it doesn't have the stupid google maps feature of leading you down roads that cease to exist but show clearly on the map.

I have all the regional De Lorme, feel free to borrow, but I'm out of town until 4/13. Applies to anyone on here who DAANG vouches for...
Last time I went to Harrisonburg, I rode hwy 33. Not sure where Pocahontas Co is.

Where specifically are you going? 10 to Hopewell, Beach Road though Chester and Chesterfield, then hit some small back roads towards 6 out to Scottsville, 56 over the mountain to 39.

There's a ton of nice small roads once you get out towards Hopewell. You just have to sort of stitch them together. Do you have a GPS? I do all my routing on Mapsource then load into my Zumo. I could send you some files that I have from past rides out there. I'm assuming you're heading towards Marlington?
