Just throwing this out there for other opinions but does this seem a bit pricey? The bike is listed $1500 over the "dealer used" value on KBB. Is there more room to deal on used bikes vs new ones?

There were two of them on here within the last 2 weeks for $3500. If that's the bike you want I'd be patient and wait for a other great deal.

Change in my plans. I'll be in Sugar Grove all weekend and as long as my DR650 goes back together well, I will be looking to ride Sat. and Sunday.

If anybody wants to ride or needs a place to park or crash for the night send me a pm.

If riding, I do more moderate trails like dunkle hollow, no single track or anything too difficult.

Pocahontas County Ride yesterday

Took the wife on her first dual sport ride yesterday, she loved it.

Got a thorough soaking as well, the rain was sporadic to start but then decided it was here to stay.

Wvdirtbiker led us through some beautiful areas like always. Safe to say Emma is now hooked and I need to get her some proper riding gear. The men's XL hi-viz tee over her riding jersey, while a great look, doesn't offer great protection lol. She was a trooper.

Free Vstrom stuff (my '03 has been gone for a while)

ALL ARE SPOKEN FOR.

These all came with my 2003 VStrom DL1000 when I bought it from the original owner.

Bike is long sold. below items are free to a good home, most new and in package:
caliper bleed screw
various parts related to the upgraded clutch basket (two large washers, nut, case gasket)
thermostat
rear swing arm spools (blue)
Race Tech fork seals, upper and lower bushing kits (all new in packaging)

Thanks,
Marc

Anybody want to go to Quaker Steak with me on Wednesday for bike night?

I am bringing something a little different than the swarms of Harleys and Stretched swingarm sportbikes.

I rode out to check out Redline for the first time Sat morning. Had some pretty bikes but they do seem to have a very high opinion of them......

Rev Pack map holder to get rid of....

Came with a bike I bought, never used it.
9.5 inches by 10.5 inches, appears brand new.

$15 and it's yours (sells for $35 new according to the web).

Thought it might be handy for the more dirt oriented in the crowd.

Considering all it apparently has as extra's is a Sargent set, that's pricey.

But this is typical for any dealer I've run across. I could not get any bites on a K75S years ago, I took off the bags, tank bag, etc. and gave it to a dealer on consignment. Sold for my same asking price within two weeks. WITHOUT all the extra stuff I had, which I sold separately. go figure....

Today being my first furlough day, I wrote some emails and made some phone calls to my representative's, then took the DR out for a good ride.
I slipped a disk in my back earlier this yr, and have not got to ride much lately.

But finally hit the 40,000 mile mark.

I really like this bike.

That is a sharp looking bike!

I hope the folks getting furloughed get to enjoy the extra time. It's like a catch 22 - hey, take a day off every week but sorry we're cutting your pay. As usual, more time but less money to spend...
