I have an employee that's a bonafide gun nut.....like, I'm going to his place for the apocalypse type gun nut. I just asked him, and he say Kurt at Oceana Pawn seems to have his stuff together. He said he can't personally vouch for his work, but he seems knowledgeable. Coming out of this guy, that's pretty high praise.

Let's put it this way, he gave me 8 Kimber 1911 mags because according to him "they're shit". He has pretty high standards.

Hell! See if he has any H&K USP mags that he doesn't like... H&K has an awfully high opinion of their shit.

Since we're on guns again, hopefully any locals that have an M&P Shield has received their safety/recall notices. If not, check out the S&W website. Mine was fine.

Speaking of guns... are there any local message boards or such where I can list a handgun for sale? I know it's not allowed here or on Craigslist.

As far as the wood... ScreaminInjun procured some last year from a local guy. I think it was $60 for a pile-o-wood. We could probably do the same thing this year. We'll just have to find out where he got it.

I'm going..... not sure what I'm riding. I got the XR650 apart, but if I can't get it back together in time then I'll be on a TT225!

Since I am pulling my moto trailer up I plan on bringing a decent tool set with me. Any particular requests? I have most items that most of us could possibly need. With the exception of the GS? Not sure if they require anything special.
Plan on bringing:
1. Metric socket and wrench kit. Have 27mm and 32mm 1/2" sockets. Anybody have an oddball axle size. Have 3/4" up to I think 52mm.
2. ft/lb and in/lb torque wrenches (being in my line of work I am unfortunately anal about torque specs.
3. Tire changing stand.
4. Basic hand tools (Hammer, brass, punches, etc)
5. Have a couple spare 21" fronts and one 18" rear in case someone tears a tire.

Anybody who is riding or traveling lighter have any needs that I can toss in the truck and trailer?

Cheers Ken
