i hope it was cooler over your way

It was too warm for me, Thursday thorough 1pm today it was in the high 70's at camp. It did get down to 60 at night. I came home via the Parkway and it was 84 up there at 1 to 1:30 pm today. Even the trout were hiding from me, only caught one nice one. WHere is the fall weather??

Hope it was cooler for the Shen. 500 folks.

Poondangle, thanks. That was a great video!

I like the fact that it represents the mighty DR true to life. Many video's stretch the truth a bit.

Yes, I never swerve to miss an animal. Just keep going, it won't be there by the time you get there.

I agree, very journalistic in nature. I understand the filmmaker got his start with NASA in the summer of 1969

I'd have expected a KLR on that rig...

Ha! Brian, that is great, but like Falcon, I would expect a KLR to be up there.

I was just talking to bikerpedal about how nice those Silverwings are. Good stuff!

Insurance may replace your helmet, as wearing one in VA is the law. My insurance did. I have State Farm.

Your jacket looks ok. If the stitching is threatening to come apart though, I'd push to replace it.

Insurance will usually suggest you replace everything that's damaged on the bike with OEM replacement parts. Although in some cases, they will estimate for repair over replacement (painting, for example).

Glad you're ok. If you try and figure out just what went wrong, and why you went down, you'll drive yourself mad. Trust me.

Instead, you can now say that your gear worked, your crash bars worked, and that skunks can never be trusted.

Fucking amazing what people will do. I guess they've got a forklift at home too, so why the hell not?

DL, hope that back gets better soon!

What is that front strap tied to? Maybe it's taped down with whatever was left over from fixing the mirror?
