Never been to Slades but have heard how crazy it can be.
Any body ever go to Roberts Track and Trails? website is terrible, and from what I can tell it closed at one time.

There is a facebook page now though, and its a club. Not sure how it works.
Curious if anybody on here has gone up there?

There are a couple of things in life that are just purely factual and can't be argued. This is one.

What you have there is a girlfriend who still wants sex every night kinda girlfriend.
Moy speaks the truth! And I speak from the divorced side of experience..... keep her the sex-loving, moto-riding, life-saving girlfriend as long as possible!!!!

You will thank us for it

Show up when they are there. Pay and ride. Was talking to some TDR guys last night and they said Roberts is pretty sweet. It was closed at one time due to "new neighbor" issues. Has a beginner/intermediate mx track and some nice trails.

Slades isn't so bad if you are able to go during the week. The weekends just bring larger groups, and some of those people tend to try to mix alcohol and riding. I've only ever seen 4 wheelers and drinking, never a bike rider doing it. Full disclosure, I haven't been in a long time. I quit going because of that. Maybe they've cleaned the crowd up some?

Honestly, I don't think they do enough maintenance myself. I mean, what do the fees go toward? Maybe I'm just picky.

If I could do it all over again, I'd be a monk.

FYI, if anybody has a good dirt oriented dual sport (but not a little 450 or something, more along the lines of a 690 or a 990, no brand loyalty on buyer's part to any particular brand, just bikes that come to mind), I may have a buyer for you. A colleague is getting ideas looking at me riding my bike to work every day.

Not sure how you would feel, but I would rock this all day everyday.

Haters gonna hate!

Find a good used 950 Adventure. Light years ahead of any other adventure bike offroad, stone reliable platform, and can be had crazy cheap with the new 1190 hitting out shores.

Cheers Ken

Yeah but mostly white plastics. Sorry, had to go black, lest I go into Orange overload.

Nobody has a spare #1 lying around, do they (for an 1150, also found on some 1200s and some 1100s)? Doubt I'll find one in stock at a dealer tomorrow...
