On the way home from work on the 990 I took a little detour into a local riding spot and came across it. No one around... must be out assembling the recovery squad!
If it is still there tomorrow. Let's go swap out the passenger side headlight with the one from my Chebby. Mine has moisture in it...........would really make em go.....WTF?

Why is it so clean? It doesn't look like they even tried to get it out

I'll set a few courses of varying difficulty. Speeds are low for safety, but you will be challenged. You will break a sweat. Highly unlikely that anyone will drop a bike.

PM me for details and location. We'll wrap up by 6pm-ish.

Some more gymkhana info:

"Just in case if you are not familiar with what it is, its basically an obstacle course, very similar to Cop's rodeos but done on any bike and with A LOT more speed. I like to compare it as what go-carting is to formula one, so is gymkhana is to GP. Seems it originated in Japan. Lots of videos of it on YouTube, but your best bet is to actually translate Gymkhana into Japanese and post that into a search. Adding "Dunlop" also helps, as they are a big sponsor over there."

A note on that. J could not find the Grom on the Honda site. It was not a scooter, street bike or dual sport. They must have disowned it.
Any bike will work. A Grom would be awesome.

Single? Not so much. Woman is leaving me on major kid duty this weekend so I get some slack in my leash.

Knobbies not required. This is on flat pavement. Any bike will work.

It will be sort of like this video, but far less organized.

I am blessed to live right on the suburban edge of Pungo. Out the "back" of my neighborhood is Indian River Rd. and then shortly thereafter is West Neck road to the hinterlands.

Knotts Island is a frequent destination, I regularly wave at the (1) police car down there, he is good and you better be watching for him...I'm sure he'll get me one day!

Causeway glam shot..

This looks awesome, I've just been watching some videos of the police type slow and tight course riding and really want to work on my slow technique.

PM sent!

That is weird, not so much as a splatter of mud on the inside of the wheel wells. Looks like it just came off the lot. But yet there is an old tire and board propped up behind the rear wheel, like they were going to try to get it out.

Hmmm, insurance claim?

bring your CBR man, it's perfect for this.

Remember, I'll be on the fat pig of a Vstar 650. I bet you $20 I can lay a faster time on that fat pig, than you can on your CBR

Here is a guy on a Gixxer 750:

Just send me a text man, and we can do some parking lot sessions anytime. I go out there fairly often since it is so close to where we live.
