Yep, those work great too. I haven't been very motivated to make any though, as I have a whole lot full of cones at hand

Is the website in your sig supposed to be selling me shoes?

Interesting pic of the line of sight from your Sugar Grove place!

Thanks for your help.
if just you want to climb up to Reddish Knob on the HD via gravel, try it from the south starting at 250 to determine whether it's something you want to pursue, then go from there.

CR25 in WV is the same as Briery Branch in VA, pavement all the way from 257(Briery Branch) to CR21(Sugar Grove). CR25 was paved in 2012.

I've got a ton of tennis balls you can have if you decide you want to do it. I know they're not expensive, but if you want them, they're yours.

laptop and bag

I have a brand new, tags still on it motorcycle laptop bag for $30. I bought it on close out but new it was $110. It looks like a normal laptop bag except it has a waterproof cover and hidden straps to mount it like a tailbag. Nice bag, but not big enough for my job in which I have to carry a laptop, tablet and mac mini.

2nd item is an Asus 10" netbook which is great for traveling. Has Windows 7 and MS Office 2010. 230g hard drive. Packs about the same size as my 8" tablet and has very good battery life.

$100

We still do tire changes. $20 if you bring the wheel, $30 if you bring the entire bike. We still setup shop at the Virginia Championship Hare Scrambles Series event and the Northeast Offroad Championship Series events. We still order all kinds of parts and accessories. Still can get many KTM parts and Western Power Sports/Fly Racing parts.

Balanced too? Contact info?

I typically do my own but for $20 a wheel I might not bother.

Talking MS 150 Road Marshal Volunteers

Hi all -- I volunteer most years as a road marshal for the MS150 bike ride on the Eastern Shore and we could use a few more motorcyclists this year. It's basically a day of riding your motorcycle along the bike route (75 miles each day for the cyclists), providing encouragement, handing out water and snacks, helping with any issues the riders encounter (flat tires, first aid) until a support vehicle gets there, and calling for help. I usually take one of my daughters along and they enjoy it, too.

I generally end up riding about 150-200 miles each day -- there's a lot of back-and-forth between sections -- and have a good time doing so. It's a sedate pace, often riding slowly along the cyclists and shouting encouragement. The official road marshals are the Virginia Touring Society members, but more motorcycle volunteers are usually needed.

This year's ride is May 31 and June 1, and it starts and ends in Cape Charles. If you have any interest, send me a PM and I'll answer any questions and put you in touch with the coordinator. You can just ride one day if you like -- probably not a good fit for your sport bike with the extra-loud pipes :-)
