I have the exact same bike but mine has around 18K. It's been in hibernation for a couple years waiting for me to get enough courage to rebuild the carbs. I'm sure it's not as bad as I'm making it out to be.

First bike for my boys:

My three year old could ride it too, but no video since I have to catch him if he stops.

I've got the 16 inch. My 3 year old was riding it and balancing on his own, but he can't reach the ground, so he can't get started on his own.

They make a 12 inch. http://osetbikes.com/us/oset-bikes-en-US/oset-12-5-24v/

The great thing is that the bikes are small, quiet, and light. My 5 year old dropped the bike, and could pick it up on his own, and get started again. My neighbors just smiled at the boys as we were riding in the street, but I am sure I would have gotten the opposite reaction if they were on a gas bike.

My wife even said that we should get her the 20 inch, so that she can go ride with the boys and I .

Any local inmates who might be interested in one of these bikes are welcome to have their kids take test rides on our bike also. My boys are good at sharing.

Anybody have a 12GS with one of the various flyscreens on? Now that I have a TT high seat on mine, the factory tall screen is no longer ideal, and with it being warm weather time I'm thinking of getting a flyscreen (or home-making one). The stock screen is almost a fly screen for 6'2" me on a high seat, but I'm thinking it might be nice if there is one that would leave me in clean air, rather than a jet of air shot at my head and chest.
