None, once he saw the snake all the effort was made to catch it. Seems to be living under the floor of the trailer. Suits me just fine. He can eat all the mice he likes.

Got some fresh meats mounted. I love fresh tires!
I hope to ride gravel with a bit more confidence than before. I mounted a Duro 904 rear and a Kenda Big Block front. So we'll see how she does.

RWV entry is now open. My doc should clear me to ride 3 days before the start. What could go wrong?

Now you of all people know that injury, surgery, and rehab SUCKS. Knowing this, why don't you:

1). Sit this one out.

2). Recover fully and train/strengthen that shoulder.

3). Ride your ass off, but practice prudently for a year.

4). Go balls-out next year when you're strong and ready!

Best of luck to ya!

Dude, you are a special kind of nuts. I admire your persistence and attitude in the face of a seriously nasty injury.

Might get one of those "standing up" tickets. Tell 'em somebody stole your Corbin.

Man you're gonna have fun with that thing!

Took my girl riding some forest roads this weekend and found out she's a machine. A slow and steady machine, but a machine nonetheless. Also for some reason FS-317A is closed until August 1 so if you go out to the area be aware.

Memorial Day

Hey all,
So there I was... riding/camping solo around VA33 on the VA/WV border. Damn it's pretty out there!

Camped here:

Then, inevitably, I took a turn too fast, slid, fishtailed, lowsided it, and spun it around into a ditch. Good times!

Unfortunately, this took out the rear brake. You can see that the rod coming out of the clevis joint is no longer attached to the rear master cylinder. I sheared the bold that holds the pedal down and keeps the rod in the rubber boot.

I jerry rigged a solution, but I didn't trust it on the rocky stuff, so I rode it back home. All's well that ends well!

Yep that is my neck of the woods.

I was riding around much of the same area. If you saw a Tenere pulling a trailer, that was me.
