Thanks a bunch KLR for the hospitality, food, tech advice and tools. The BBQ was really good, and please thank the misses as well, I didn't get to thank her.

Now I'm much more comfortable removing the plastics and the tank. And I won't forget that it helps to connect the fuel line back together after putting the tank back on!

It's always good to see the ADV gang!

Running no less!

My bike all buttoned back up after brake fluid flush and tank removal/air filter inspection and so Ethan could show me how the plastiware comes off our bikes...

Thanks for coming out, we really enjoyed having everyone over. Fun to talk bikes and share a meal. Looking to get a group together to go see the Mega Mile at Colonial Downs, 23 August.

Headed to Poe's in the morning with Bob and friends. Meet up is 0800 at the Ben's Church gas station.

Thanks for opening your home to us all. It was nice meeting so many new faces, and seeing a few familiar ones as well.

Thanks Ethan

A great pleasure meeting everyone and putting faces with names.
MGB ..I didn't connect the dots but I followed you down 460 a month ago.
I stopped in Crewe to get rid of coffee. I remembered seeing the fly rod on the back. I was the fat old guy with the dirty beemer today.
Everyone ride safe.

Darn, I didn't make that connection either!

And now that you said this, I can recognize you from when you pulled up to say hey and continue on our route. Makes complete sense that we were talking fishing today..... duh is me...

Thanks Ethan!

Enjoyed catching up with folks, didn't hang for lunch - trying to get my garage painted and heading to the mountains next weekend for sure. Too many fun things to do! Yes, the garage painting is fun as I've got a 7 and 9 year old next door helping so they can earn money. We're working on the detached garage side that doesn't face anyone

Free to good Home

I have two jackets I do not use.

1) Black Mesh with winter liner 2XL, i'm 6'3' 240 this fits me good, maybe a tad loose.

2) Black textile Tour Mater Saber XL with liner, this is a tad small for me

anyway PM me if you would like check them out and try on, if you like either you can have, if not leave for another inmate.

I will put this on the Richmond site as well.

Suzuki Dealers

Hello there !
I'm in virginia beach with a vstrom. Anyone know a good dealer to do a 16kish service? Probably needs valve adjustment and I have heard bad things about service at Sunrise Cycles and Cycleworld which are the only two suzuki dealers in the area.. :(

very little dealer experience here but....

I did take previous bikes in to cycle city in newport news for a couple warranty items. The service lead Chris Rose seems on top of things. Their attention to detail was excellent.

The valve check & adjustment, combined with fluid changes, lubrication, and general cleaning & inspect takes some time but is completely doable by the owner. I have all the tools, factory service manual, and did the job myself recently. Send me a PM if you'd like to do this yourself with some assistance. Btw, this Will not void your warantee! Just document the service.

Precision Cycles off Cleveland in VB is a good local shop with reasonable rates.

I've always been pleased with their service.
