If anyone local is interested, I'll come down to $1200 for you Hampton Roads FF's. In the spirit of full disclosure, there's an oil weep that comes from where the header pipe goes into the engine behind the front wheel. I've never had to add oil, but after I wash it, the weep becomes noticable again within a couple hundred miles. From the XT thread, it seems like this is a very common occurrence with these bikes so I never worried about it. Again, it doesn't drip and you don't have to "take extra oil" so you can add as you go. Really just a cosmetic thing.

Would definitely be a great women's bike. I'm about 5'10 230 lbs (EEK!), and I've had it on Indepedence, VB Blvd, Shore Dr, etc. with no problems going 60mph. So knock off 80 or so pounds off the rider and I'm sure she could fly.

Also has a fresh inspection, October I think I got it done.

Let me know if anyone's seriously interested and I'll get her cleaned up and could meet you.

Sonofabitch. If I hadn't just bought this TTR then unexpectedly needed to drop a bunch of cash in it, I'd be all over this.

As tempting as it is, I think I need something a little more substantial for all the luggage I'll be taking to Alaska*, plus my beefy frame. :p

* trip to Alaska to happen sometime between November 30, 2010 and the year 2059.

I'd be all for that, actually. I think that doing the trip alone is just a bad idea. And doing it with a good friend might not be that great either.

I'm 31... I've got a while before I'm probably physically unable to do it... or too old to remember my way back. :p

Get a Wee. Or a Seca 900. It only has 105k miles. Just broke in.

test post

I am just seeing if I can post from my not that smart phone. If i can figure out how to add a picture too, then I can minimize my risk of being bruced in the TOR.

That SECA was tempting.

I think I'll go KLR over the wee. I just like how it looks better. (Imagine that... the guy with the Ducati wants something that looks nice :p)
