GS is on my list, just couldn't justify the cost now and it's too close to the Wee. The FJR will be a great winter bike!!

It's too hot right now to even go out in the garage and admire it!!!!

I got insurance today, when I called for a quote on an '08 it was $510/yr, the '06 is $326. I was so happy I went out and bought a new riding jacket!!

I think I'll change the oil tomorrow and tidy up the wiring, I don't like how that fuse box is installed.

As for the insurance, that's sweet, be glad your are in VA...NC will rape ya. I never had a chance to start pulling panels off and see what was under there.

she is busy keeping us safe and all that...
I want to get the digs in norfolk fixed up alittle more before she spends time here..I kinda been living like a P-I-G hog down here.. the cabin is spiffy though.. she moved in a few weeks ago and commutes to work..
we are getting the details on the ADV - BWDR camp out tied up for the 25th of september.. come if you can just bring a tent and bag.. the beer and grub is taken care of for the most part.. In town for a few days so if yall want to grab dinner , sing out.. cheers

Well, I pulled all the non-stock wiring out of the FJR today. Man the guy who had it before you Murph really had no clue what he was doing. I re-wired the Datel and connected the Zumo harness. I pulled out all the driving light wiring for now (there was no less than 10 "Vampire taps").

Way too hot today to do anymore work. When I do the AudioVox I'll pull the fairing and re-do the lights and add a fuse box. I'll also put in the heated grips and Gerbing connection.

Weird how the battery is up under the right fairing panels. Not the easiest thing to get access to under there!!

just added my datel and heated grips last week, adding the cruise wasn't bad I did find the cheap check valve I bought local was crap.
