Gear is packed and food is bought. I just need to do laundry and pack my backpack today after owl training, and I'll be all set to leave Tuesday morning.

Can't FRIGGIN' wait to get the hell out of here, and away from everything for a few days. Get to eat some good food (everyone's picking one night to cook dinner, and one guy's wife packed him some authentic Thai food), see some people I haven't seen in a year or two, and enjoy some great roads on my Duc.

I think I'm probably forgetting how fun 28 is from Fontana to CROT on the Duc. It's like that little stretch of road was made for my bike. Combination of sweeping corners and sharp hairpins, 2-valves clickin', exhaust growlin', and guages dancing wildly in front of me as I navigate. GOD I wanna be there right now, and not sitting here in front of my computer.

Gonna be a LONG DAY at the job I just quit tomorrow.

Better a ditch than a tree!

Glad not to see any more broken wrist pics.

For anyone interested..I am only attending, but somewhere down the road may race a few in the classic senior ccc class

I know some guys that race in that series and saw the race last year, pretty cool. Me and another guy just joined the Tidewater Dirt Riders, I think this is their sponsored race. I might be able to make it out there Sat.

How do you join the tidewater dirt riders? The link to their website leads to a domain that is for sale.

I saw that too. I think the link was wrong on the race site. We went to a meeting last month, but I think they have a waiting list now. The good thing is, everybody in your house becomes a member, so the kids can go too. They have two different properties to ride on.

Igofar sighting

Kip, good to see you out on the highway. I was making my way up to DC for a couple weeks of training.

Traffic wasn't too bad up coming up, however the GSA can split lanes if she wants to.
