Great! Does the shop have a ride heading up? If so, which shop?

I did that ride with Redline a few months ago. I wasn't planning on that many bikes showing up... then when we got to Poe's, it was PACKED. Had to fight for a place to park the SV... on gravel... on an incline.

Not really my cup of tea, but I hear the food is great! It was just way too packed when we got there to get anywhere near food. So I just stayed for a bit, looked at the bikes, chatted, then headed home via Rt. 10.

I do like how Redline organizes it though. Everybody needs gas and we head out at 8 sharp... no excuses. No f-ckin' around! Seems like whenever I go on a ride with a group larger than 3, there's always one person who drags their feet, or isn't prepared. Hence reason #23 why I don't do group rides.

I'd say its alright. More like a cheap Shoney's breakfast bar, and not as much stuff to choose from. If you prefer more than just bacon and scrambled eggs, then park at Poe's, cross the street and walk up (assuming you're coming up 5 from W-Burg) less than a block to Milley's and get one of their specialty omlette's. A few bucks more, but well worth it IMHO.

Here's their sample brunch offering:

MILLIE'S BRUNCH
SATURDAY: 10 A.M. TO 3 P.M.
SUNDAY: 9 A.M. TO 3 P.M.

tomatoes and mild curry, finished with melted white cheddar and avocado

Hmmm... that might be a better idea.

Who wants to go do that, instead of Poe's?

True... it can get crowded and the food is not 5 star, but it's a fun time to hang out and look at bikes. If you have an aversion to crowds, I can see where this ride may be too much fun. Anyway...I think I'm going to ride up with my son on the Harley so I hope to see you guys there.

Yeah, thats my issue is the crowd thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bad-mouth the event... it's just not my scene. Lots of cool bikes though. Saw an old MG Daytona, a Yamaha flat-tracker, and no other SV's. ;D

Don't sweat it, the sandman decided I needed sleep more than a ride.

I got up around 8, hit up Wawa, and ate my breakfast on the Riverfront in Yorktown. Beautifull morning. Took a ride out through the woods with my new Italian girlfriend on the way home.

Heading to Richmond Sat. around 4 to have a quick bite and check out this movie and meet the guy who made it.

I have his first movie and it is pretty impressive.

If anyone wants to head up there too, give me a shout.

+1 on the group ride thing

All you have to do is leave solo and head towards Richmond and BOOM! You are in a group ride. If too crowded at poes don't hesitate to continue down the road. Richmond is one of my faves. Eats around the farm market range from African to thai to a great couple diners Millies is great if you can get a seat.

That movie in Richmond sounds great if not working. Cheers
