glad you guys got some photos, my camera battery was dead.

yeah, i was running on one eye by then, but you wouldn't be able to tell unless i mentioned it. i run about the same speed with two eyes, one eye...or both eyes closed.

that "versys sites legend" thing comes from a PM i told UPST8 about that i got from a rider in Greece who said a photo of the bike was circulating on the Greece and Turkey Kawasaki rider sites and he provided a link, so i took a look. i used Google translate to see what the comments were about, and got the english translation "that bike is really ugly", "what a waste of time", "stupid guy should have bought a KTM", not a single positive thing to say, they weren't impressed.

another recent PM came from Syria, civil unrest, tank fire in the streets, snipers on the rooftops, dozens of protesters killed each day, country in flames..."I have some free time right now and want to build a skidplate like yours. please send me detailed photos and dimensions". the guy obviously had a different set of priorities than many of his fellow citizens.

the bike was down an eye also, the same frisky little tree jumped out in front of both Brian and I on Dunkle Hollow, in my case, it took out the right side driving light, no other damage.

Chris,

sorry that I missed the ride this weekend. I ended up doing yardwork all day Saturday and Sunday. In hindsight I'm probably better off for not going. No damage to the bike when it's sitting in the garage.

Safe travels to Cali.

The track is so much fun. There are so many technical spots and blind turns. I absolutely love it.

This is the team that won overall laps. This car is a BEAST! The team is really polite on the track though. Some of the guys racing are complete fucktards out there. These guys understand that the field is full of amateurs and finds a way to get around them without causing havoc. They won $1500 in nickels

This team won the best award, Index of Effluency. This team is the real winner of a LeMons race. Its voted by the organization of being true to the LeMons philosophy but surprising the hell out of everyone for their standings. This was their first race, car came into tech inspection with MANY issues that were all fixed by the team before the start of the race. These guys were also pretty quick out there. Very good drivers who stuck with a game plan. They won $1501 in cash... The Soccer Mom team.

I took her to the mudpit and Oceana trails yesterday, even took her on single track in the woods. Can't wait to take her up to bwdr. I rode the supermoto wheel set too. It's more fun than the SMR I had.

The bike rips, frankly. One of my ATFs.

Who's up for a ride on Saturday???
Tell me more about the Oceana trails!?

I've developed this GSA trick when the bike is on the centerstand, basically having it in gear and rolling it off the stand and riding off without touching feet to ground. Just remember to put it in gear first. Otherwise you might fall on your ass at the 7-11. Ask me how I know this...
