My idea of lineX on the panniers and rear fairings isn't going to work out :/ lil disappointed ,,, but switching to black high gloss to match the tank Unless anyone knows someone with a low pressure lineX setup?

Don't they make some version of Line X that actually comes out of a rattle can?*

If not that, something like Krylon Fusion would probably fit the bill.*

For 10$ it's worth trying a sample to see what it does! Thanks!

The plus to lineX is its a heated plural component at the tip mix. That's what makes it so durable.

Yep I did some more searching and the same stuff at Home Depot has one review that basically says it's terrible, came back to post that but SI chimed in above, scratch that idea.*

Ive used the roll on kind and its better than the can. The kit at Autozone is like $25 maybe? Comes with the paint, roller and pan. If you took the time to mix it well and rolled it evenly it would look pretty decent.

The spray can stuff worked well on my PVC tool tube. Sanded to give it some tooth and wiped it down well with isopropyl alcohol. One coat.

Hmm maybe I need to try both,, worst case I have to blast it off ., and I really think lineX panniers with the rear fairings matching would be stellar

That looks like a great place to ride, but I will point out its winter time and it looked warm and sunny there, who would want it to be warm and sunny in the winter? :)
