Ice Racing returns to Cedar Lake Indiana??

I get a call from a friend that lives in Cedar Lake Ind. claiming Ice Racing returns to the Lake. He says this first weekend in Jan of '09 will have an event. Can anybody confirm this??

Awesome! I was looking for tires for my XR100, since I really don't have the experience to race the 300 EXC.

I haven't been to one either. When I was younger we used to race snowmobiles on an ice oval. The bike classes were super cool to watch. That was 20 years ago, though.

I just got back from riding. It's warm as hell, but the trails were all under a lot of water.

I actually got to the trails this morning and the lever on my tail gate broke. I couldn't get the bikes out and had to go back home to fix it (it isn't fixed, but the access panel is off so I can get it open).

I'll see ya out there man!

Had the SE out on the road this morning between rain systems, caught a huge unexpected crosswind that nearly had me shitting my pants.

It was a hell of a ride yesterday with the wind gusts.

My finger tips used to get crazy cold too until I slapped on some heated grips.

Went by the Lake today and they're putting up the cones for the track.
Water is visible along the shoreline in spots but they must still believe the ice will be ready for this weekends activitys.

I'm planning on being there...as a spectator of course
