Merry Christmas: A crash, another crash and a stolen wallet.
Yup, you heard it folks, it is the season of goodwill here in India!
In the last two or three weeks I have been run over by a truck (literally running over the front of my bike) I have run over an old lady (or that should probably be run under as she went over the top of one of my panniers) and, after deciding to backpack for a week or two I had my wallet stolen while getting on a bus. You can read about it at www.motorcycleodyssey.co.uk (the post "I should be dead and in prison" is the best recent one) Hope everyones having a great christmas and honestly, despite everything, I am too! Ol

and then reality set in...
We often forget or don't think about the down side of riding. When we jump on we accept what comes next. Yes, you had a bad run, but you're ok and so is the old woman. Take a few days, gather yourself and remember why you took the trip in the first place. Good luck.

Vamp, too right we forget because we have to. If we worried about everything that could happen on the bike then we'd never get on it. And seriously, the benefits outweigh the risks everytime.
The only thing that will stop me riding (or at least slow me down) is the same thing that will stop me smoking. A family. But that's not on the cards for a while yet.
