you guys are mean!

CLEARLY my bike(s) has a crap suspension which is why I fall so much. Plus you see me fall a mere six times in a day and you think you know me?

I'm positive it was the front fork that made me fall twice at 0 mph descending that hill.

OK, I admit it, the REAL reason I want to do it is it looks cool.

I also added an Excel rim. I'd say maybe 5-6 lbs lost overall. You know those crappy stock front fenders with the horn in them weigh almost 5lbs. A UFO YZ fender weighs 2 lbs max. Losing 1lb on the front of the bike is like losing 3 lbs in the middle.................well actually it's like losing 1lb , but it feels like 3.

Really it's not like losing anything, because I just replace it with more beer.

Only 1/2" longer overall. The main difference is 1" more sag, and 2.75" more up travel.

I guess I'm going to find out how a quarter ton bike does on this trip.
I'm a little skeered. May have to fill the panniers up w/ ice and beer to calm my nerves.
See you guys Saturday somewhere along the trail.
