What time did you FF's hit Randsburg? I was there from about 11:30 to a little after 12 and there were a TON of ADV stickers on bikes, bunch of fuckers from fuckin fresno but fuck if I saw any of you fucking fucks.

Then I tried to go to the brewery, but my POS nav on the iPhone mislead me. Badly.
I had a nice ride on the slab though, can't wait to see pix.

Mahem

Joel was the lucky one only his bike got fkd. And he had to get dragged out of the desrt by spafixer like a bad water skier

Then CCer broke his collar bone but still rode 40 miles before we could get to the truck

At the truck Ben showed up in a strangers truck with a crushed shoulder

Beside that it was a perfect ride...

Back in the ghetto safe and sound. Only 287 miles w/ lots of pavement.
The desert was beautiful today.

Heal quick Dale, and thanks for lunch Joel.

Just rolled in. Aside from the injuries and Joel's breakdown, we made it to Randsburg for a very late lunch, then we all decided we'd had enough for the day, so we slabbed it home.

The last casualty was a KLX with a siezed engine in Randsburg.

bad day

Spafxer just dropped me at home 20 minutes ago. Glad to have a smart bike, it saved me from bodily injury...

Although the day started right, some of us never made it to Randsburg...

Only put it 70 - 80 miles before the bike quit on me. Sito and Roundstock tried to rescucitate my bike, but an electrical problem without spare parts (cdi or ignition coil) not anyone can fix. Thanks Jim for the towing; Johngil for staying with me and of course, Sito for all the valuable help.

Thanks to all for being there for me and helping out, and apologize for holding up the ride for at least an hour.

Sorry to hear about Dale and Ben...

Long Day and just got home. Good to hear that Joel made it out alive.

Dale and Ben met with unfortnate mishaps which cut their day short.
Heal quick guys!

In the end nine of us made it to Randsburg about 3:15. We ate burgers and drank Mojave Red .

Not quite the Brewery, but with all of the time we spent laying around in the desert and sunning oursleves, it just wasn't to be today.

There;s always next time

Just drove in, raining pretty good in Camarillo..

Lesson learned today: How to tow a heavy dirt bike out of the sandy desert. Hardly a problem. Did take one nap in a deep sand wash though. Pictures to come I'm sure.

Sorry to hear about the Carnage after our relaxation time.. Definitely was not due to too much beer.

I new when I saw some of the guys slabbing back to the trucks before dark, it probably was not a good sign.
