Pissed Anza Dez riding- 1/1-09 thru 1-04-08

Well here we go again. The wife and dog and I plan on heading out to the Dez and camping and I will be riding. Some of you have been out with us before and some of ya have been riding the couch too long so here it is. Probably putting up the tent trailer in Bow Willow or there bouts and doing some riding in the area, lots of riding around so all skill levels are welcome. The usual MO is starting out in the AM 8-9 and riding till the afternoon followed by a campfire and some duff beer followed by B.S. Routes are open depending on who shows and what anyone is up for. Done most of the area last year and so I know my way around. Would like to find some like minded folks to ride with who are open to riding areas other than the OHV parks which will be a zoo as usual, no offense to those that like it but I am more into exploring and seeing the area. Don't get wrong sometimes we rip it up and so the rides will probably cover a wide range. I'm riding a KTM 640 ADV. but any bike will do so long as it's plated as we do hit the pavement to get from one place to another. So there ya have it, big, small, short and tall so long as you have a good attitude and are wiling to help/tolerate all riders come out and join in the fun. Post up if your interested and we will work out the details, sands fine come on in!

Diving In..the Sand

Captcham,

Saturday will by my day to join in the fun in the Carrizo. Typical stuff I would imagine; Box Canyons, Open Washes, rocky two track. We could do a giant loop up to the Borrego Badlands and return via Culp Valley and Grapevine. Or whatever inspiration takes us. If your phone works when you set camp leave me a message where you are situated, then I can post the location for any late deciders.

I will arrive Saturday between 0800-0900. You and the gang will be onsite Thursday through Sunday?

See Ya

Loaded the truck, wash the dog and did my nails so we are off to the dez. We will be camping at Bow Willow and hope to see some of ya out there. There is usually plenty of spots for camping so get up and get out. Come on in the sands fine!

Work at the Expense of Play

BAGSTR must work at the estate and cannot play Saturday.

Such is the world. Luckily, the Desert is a patient place.

I wish I was there

This is exactly the trip that I would like to do. I just rode down to S D, and was there for a week and could not get anyone to get out and ride... "It's too cold" "I saw a rain drop".

...Most of my So Cal buddies are total weather wimps. Anyway, have a great ride/camp. Pet the dog and take some pics.
