There is plenty of beer at Eureka, just ask Phillipe Nob Your Dob or Fast Eddie, they can put away almost more beer than the brewery can make.

Lots of food, beer, good company and great riding. Where are you in Choctaw? I moved there from Edmond last year.

Have fun in Big Bend, try the River Road from Terlingua to Rio Grande Village. Then up Old Ore Road north to the ranch and back to Terlingua. It's a good day ride.

If the Chili Pepper Cafe is still open you need to give it a try. Really good food, service and inexpensive. The Que so and Salsa is really good.

My set of Conti Tkc80's just got here. Wow, the 180 rear looks even bigger know with knobs. Just need to mount them up.

Sitting here in Tulsa watching some good basketball on the tube but still wishing it wasnt 40 degrees outside cause its the time of year that I should be out on the bike going somewhere! I'll be semi-retired soon and racking up some miles this year going nowhere in particular !!

Welcome to ADVRider and the OK BS thread. Retirement is a good thing. It took me about 30 minutes to get used to it.

Took me a little longer, I quit work on Friday, Monday I was back in the office.

I missed some personal stuff I really wanted when I cleaned out so got up Monday and went to get it.

And laugh at those poor guys still there

There is plenty of riding to do out of Oklahoma, east to Arkansas, west to the mountains, south to Texas, great riding in all those places and really not far from home. Even north is good sometimes.

Thanks for the heads-up. I plan on doing some rides. Especially in Arkansas. I have a cabin on Beaver Lake so a good home base for some great roads and scenery! Hope to see some of guys over there !

Well, I work through Saturday and then I'm on my own. l offered to go in to work a couple of hours a day, a few days a week during the busy season (summer) but hope they don't take me up on it. I'm ready for retirement!
