Testing. Testing. Got a new phone. Going to try and do a ride report starting a week from Wednesday. Amy and I are headed to Colorado for a ride called chickfest. Big campout in the middle of nowhere. They have women teaching women how to ride dirt bikes. Meanwhile the guys just go ride. Oh and we're supposed to cook and clean and give foot rubs or some crap. LOL! Anyway just trying out the cut and paste on this killer frickin phone. It posts pics pretty quick. Might hafta start playing photo tag again.

Chickfest? man that has your name written all over it

The Colorado trip sounds fun. Not sure about the cooking and cleaning, and well the foot rubs. On the other hand you are going with a girl.

Tpar,RoadDad,and I are headed to Moab in 4 weeks, and I know there ain't gonna be any foot rubbing going on there.............I hope

Haha! I can't stay out of the woods long enough to do any tagging. Haven't had the street wheels on my bike for a while now.

Back home again in Indiana

Just made it back last night from an awesome ride out west. I have started the ride report at http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=589291

May take a while to finish the report. Ton's of pics. Moab was my favorite part. Spent 3 days there. I rode White Rim, La Sal Loop, Slick Rock, Kokeppeli, etc. I rode Schaffer trail the first evening and got stuck on the inside gully of a steep switchback after the soft soulder gave way under my rear tire. I was shooting a roost and power slid for about 20 feet, and I mean I was stuck big time. That's only a small part of the carnage of the whole trip, but each time I took my time, figured it out, and got myself out of the jam. It was the most challenging and rewarding ride of my life.

Check out the RR, and let me know if anyone wants to ride soon.

Here's a few teasers.

Great pics Kevin! I'll definitely be checking out that RR a little later! I would love to do a trip like that someday. Just gotta find the funds (and bike) for it.

Moab is gonna be HOT, but you guys are gonna have a blast. We were there in the Jeep last June and loved it, even though we were more than a little bit envious of people on little dirt bikes on the trails..

I just got home from a weekend gig at Aztar (I was playing bass with a horn band at Hoosiers Lounge) and had a chance to ride a little bit of Interlake on the DR350. The place was nearly deserted (the 96 degree temp may have had something to do with that) and I stayed on a couple of the main trails, but I can see it has some serious possibilities. I still haven't made it to Redbird yet though..
