I may have to back out on this weekend. I just figured out that my water pump seals need replaced. I ordered the parts, so if I get them in time to replace them before Sunday I may still be able to go for a ride.

Dang, I was hoping to do a two day ride and camp out this weekend. Whats everyone doing next weekend? Anyone want to do a two day ride and camp?

What were you riding that day?

Not me! I want people to know "why" I look this way.
I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Did you have a clear tank and stop out front by the tires. I jumped up and ran out just as you went up the hill...I took the L out there for the first time that day...don't have much off road experience...ride mostly quads out there.

I also have an R too that I play with sometimes...just haven't had the time to work on it, but love it.

Have a small shop (changes coming soon, expanding) and able to change tires and things if you ever have the need while out there...also have some spare parts in trailer for both XR's too.

yup that was me. If you dont have much dirt experience I would love to put you through the paces, er um I mean teach you Im no speed demon but I tried the power line hills last time I was out there and was really dissapointed when I flew up and down all of them without a problem, so I think I know enough to help you out.

Let me know if you want any help with the R. I LOVE mine.

Yep, Powerline hill isn't what it used to be. About halfway up it would go to the left and that was a challange for all then.

Went out behind the house for a ways but didn't go too far being by myself. I worked all day Sat. watching bikes go up and down the road all weekend. But starting to catch up on things around here.

Stop by the house next time your out and we will go out.

Powerline Hill

I wanna do Power Line Hill a bunch of times before the riding season is over. Last time I was there I chickened out, but I've grown as a rider since then. Would be good if someone was there in case I faceplant or something though...

Powerline is fun. I went up it in 3rd gear with ease last time. It's not like it used to be tho. I have video from 1985 when I was on a pw50 trying to follow my dad as he went up it. I would make it up 10ft os so and fall. But I kept trying. My dad always said that if I had a bike powerfull enough, I would go right up.
I will be going to Haspin Acres Sunday with a couple people if anyone else wants to join. Hopefully I can get my fix... With no broken bones... Who'da thunk that just going riding would be so hard.

He's doing good. We both wanted to race in the fair tonight, but I had to work late and he is 1 armed now... So no county fun this evening... He doesn't need surgery tho, and he doesn't even have a cast. The docs showed us that it is broke, and sticking a half inch out, but they also say that gravity will reset it. We'll see.

Do your buddy a favor and tell him to get a new Doc. I've broke lots of bones and "gravity" never fixed em.

Heading to Interlake on Saturday for the first time on my KTM 640 ADV. Planning to be there from around 10:00 AM until around 3:00 PM. Will be taking along lunch and drinks for the day in the panniers.

How limited will I be on the trails with the panniers mounted on the bike?

Just curious...
