I was just thinking....I don't remember how many weeks it's been since my bike has been started...

Had a great ride today. Was a little chilly and got caught in a sprinkle for a few. Would go again in a heart beat. The bike finally got the dust burnout. Thanx Lufin.

So, there has been some talk about a ride this Sunday 1/2/2011. I'm not really into riding in a cold January rain system but if it's tolerable, I'd be up for some woods riding with maybe a mix of a bit of dual sporting tossed in wouldn't hurt my feelings. Just waiting for someone to make a plan and set a time/place. Then, I can make plans to go too hopefully. That poor ol' XR of mine has been sitting over at the shop since before my surgery and hasn't even been started. I kicked it through 5 or 6 times last week one day when I stopped by to check on things. It didn't start easily and I wasn't in the mood or feeling good enough that day to hoss on it any more than that so I shut the fuel valve back off, farted on the seat, kicked one of the tires, gave it the finger and walked away from it. I'll be back over there on Friday and will give it another shot at trying to make amends with it. I know it's just upset at me for leaving it unattended for so long. Well, that and fartin' on the seat probably didn't do much to boost its morale. But hey, it had it coming!

Luckily, it's already had a good bath and is all sparkly clean and ready to go, short of lubing the chain maybe.

I'm sure I'll be taking it easy when riding. Even oPaulo would have a chance at keeping up with me I bet!

Anywhooooo.... who's in for Sunday? When & Where?

If I get my replacement shock soon enough I would like to head out to motosupreme for the weekend. Don't know if it will happen but thats what I want to do

I will let you know when I get the bike fixed.

I had a XR400 I bought new in '96,whenever it was below 40 degrees I had to put a small spaceheater on it for a halfhour or so before it would fire up.
