More than likely will become one of the many KLR freaks.

Nice matching set!!
Welcome to bring it down and we'll throw it on the lift and look at that harness if you want.

Thanks Paul -- It took a lot of thieving from financial areas that shouldn't have been gutted (namely, an increase in debt instead of hunkering down). My wife thinks I'll want to sell it in 2 months like the XT350. The old Yamaha didn't last long. Great bike, just not electric start. My guess is that I'll have the KLR for a long time. It will get farkled to some extent and will be the least heroic KLR on this thread but it will be fun anyway.

Oh OK, no beer there. Well there's got to be watering holes in the Southern Indiana boonies somewhere ... or find a bunch of old Bultacos burning Castor Oil and get a buzz off that.

i don't think my helmet cam set up captured all he had on display very well... there was alot going on there. but my cam don't zoom and i didn't wanna be disrespectful and walk on his lawn. he had alot of miniature stuff on opposite side of road that was very cool.

We stopped there last year on a d.i.r.t. ride. I love that guys art. He invited us all up on the property. Kiddo really loved it.

Looks like at least one of you had half a brain and rode a full size bike.

if you think that looked funny, u shoulda seen me on wes's xr70... now that was a freak show! tim offered me a ride on his 50 but at times it was squirrly with him on it. so i declined as i didn't wanna throw it on the ground and scratch it up.

i always seem to see these lil things in peoples front yards for sale, but never thought to stop n look at em. after the fun we had yesterday... i may have to stop n look now. woodsrats highly modded 50 used just as much fuel as wes's stocker 70. i don't remember the exact mileage but round 33 or 34 when we stopped for lunch/gas, and the both took .2 of a gal... which returned 131.1 mpg!

just what i need, another motorcycle in my garage.

i did just trade my camper for a yamaha warrior 350 atv cuz it took up less space in my barn... i lil xr/klx would take up even less space than the atv i don't need, so if anyone is interested in a swap... lemme know.

oh, and alex's xr100 would have been a good one.

Mini Ride...

Had a great time fellers... it was an absolute blast!
Now on to some pics...

Woodsrat needed to tighten up a bolt on his POS fiddy...

But really, his bike is the most modded bike I have ever seen. It is a work of art in itself... Nice job eh...

Some of the stuff from the artist I call spoons...

Bigfoot sighting....

tpar is sizin up the xr... I think bar risers may be in store...

The big tire on the TW made woodsrats tall "moneypit" look small...

Sure hated for this ride to be over... I really think I could put a 200 miler behind me in one day on the xr. And if I had a little more space between my pegs and the seat, it would be a no brainer. Woodsrat has a whole head full of info on these bikes... and hopefully with his guidance, I will make it better for the next "little adventure" that comes up...
