You know... There are very drastic differences tween a tw200 and pretty much any husky.

What exactly are you wanting to do with motorcycle you are looking for? What do you want it do for you?

Eek Husky

Ut-oh Fetus! going from a short seat height $1500 TW to a tall high $ Husky. If you want a short woods crawler its hard to beat a tw, xt225-250, sherpa, crf230. I heard that Husky's like to eat little people!

I believe that, but I think I'd have to sleep over, and I'll need to be back Friday evening. I might get there as early as fall. I ride as long as it's 30ish or more, so I'm game for a winter run if there is one.

The Husky is not a tame animal by any stretch of the imagination. It is basically a barely street legal race bike. It is a beast and is incredibly fun to ride. It is far more capable than this old man... It's taking me a while to regain woods riding techniques after several years away and several years riding road race bikes...

We rode there all last winter. I get hot when it 30 out, so when its 90+ its miserable.

I have never been to the Waveland park. I have heard others say they have tried going and its been closed when they get there, so they recommend always calling ahead to make sure its open for riding.

Have you ever been to the Badlands? I have been once and don't care to go back. Lots of sand and nothing real exciting to ride. I'd give Waveland a try if you think the Badlands is to far for one day.

Bike

Nice bike. Its 3" taller than a tw and 2" taller than an xt and double the price of a nice used xt. Im sure its a bulletproof engine but so are the rest. It all depends on what you want and what you want to spend..

I don't know what it's worth, and who knows what it will bid up to, but generally speaking, bikes go a lot cheaper on CL or local classifieds. Really a buyers market now, so if you are patient, you'll find what you want for a good price. I'm a tight @$$ right now, until my wife gets back to work It looks to be in good shape. What are you running now?
