Hi John. Haven't played with this in a while. You can download a .geo_pdf file from the USGS. Or you can buy them. I suppose you could zoom in and print out, store on a tank bag.
Neat thing is there are several 'dated' versions to choose from. For instance, the Williams, IN area has 3 versions to chose from:2010, 1993 and 1978. Would be neat to compare them all.

I bought from USGS, they are on dvd's. They are in .tiff format with a .tfw (tiff world file) so when I import them into Autocad they are in the almost correct location to WGS 84 (lat, long) they come in the coordinate system UTM zone 16N and NAD '27, they end up being about 700' to North to match the current WGS 84.

So I just move them South, and the lat, long work for the GPS's

OruxMaps?

Anyone with an Android phone have OruxMaps? I just downloaded it but I'm blown away so far by how robust and detailed it is. This thing looks like it could definitely work as a GPS lite until I breakdown and actually buy a GPS. Best part of all it's a free app!

Finally uploaded the last few minutes of the Saturday morning LBL 200 Section down to the old cemetery...

I still have a ton of other footage, just no time to sit down and edit it all yet...
